Webinar Summary
The European Council recently approved the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (known as CSDDD) which introduces new human rights and environmental obligations on both EU and non-EU companies meeting certain revenue and/or employee thresholds and marking a new era in ESG regulation. While the actual implementation of the CSDDD will take some time, companies should start preparing now by identifying problems in their operations and supply chains and working towards developing a global framework for compliance.
In this webinar, Nicola Bonucci, Former Director & Accession Coordinator Directorate for Legal Affairs of the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development, discussed what the CSDDD entails, who it impacts, and proactive steps both EU and U.S. companies can take to prepare.
Webinar topics include:

- How it relates to other emerging laws and regulations
- How you should be preparing for the new directive
- Mapping out risks within your value chain
- Tracking and monitoring ESG due diligence outcomes
