The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive CSDDD: Its Impact on EU and non-EU Companies and How to Prepare

On 15 March 2024, the European Council approved the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (known as CSDDD) which introduces new obligations for both EU and non-EU companies. While the actual implementation of the CSDDD will take some time, companies should start preparing now by identifying problems in their operations and supply chains and working towards developing a global framework for compliance.
